Meet Dr. L. Eric Anderson

Dr. L. Eric Anderson

Dr. Anderson grew up in Tampico, IL and graduated from Tampico High School in 1990. He then attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, and received a Bachelor of Science in 1994. In 1999, he graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, receiving awards in multiple disciplines of dental practice. After practicing as an associate doctor in Windsor Heights for a year, he bought the dental practice of Dr. William E. Nelson in August, 2000. With a strong passion for education, Dr. Anderson served as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2000 and 2001.

Although Dr. Anderson enjoyed his time teaching at the college, he chose to focus on his young family and rapidly growing practice here in Des Moines. In February, 2003, he moved his practice to its current location in West Des Moines.

Dr. Anderson has continued to seek growth and education beyond his ever continuing dental training. In 2005 and 2006, he attended Northwestern's Kellogg School of Business, receiving certificates in Advanced Practice Management. His time in Chicago has aided him in building and retaining one the best teams of dental professionals in the Des Moines area.

Dr. Anderson enjoys Hawkeye sports, Harley Davidson motorcycles, boating, travel, working out, and spending time with friends and family. He has two beautiful children, he loves to brag about, that keep him busy.

Dr. Anderson is passionate about the manner in which care is delivered at Anderson Dental Group. He is committed to providing a relaxed atmosphere and exceptional care to each of his patients.
